Plok. That's easy. Open XCC Mixer. Then, go to the Launch bar, then XCC String Table Editor, and then Generals Zero Hour. You will now see string categories to the left and a big list of the strings in the selected category to the right. If you want to edit a string, you can click on it and then click on the Edit button to the bottom of the window.
Prepare to unleash the absolute latest in modern weapons technology against the world's most powerful Generals in Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. In the next era of military strategy and might, you'll need to command a more technologically advanced arsenal to defeat new, more powerful enemies. Add addon MakeOver.
Locate your game folder. If you installed ZH with TFD, The probable location is something like C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer (tm) Generals Zero Hour. Locate it, wherever it is, it should contain Generals.exe file. Create a folder inside that directory and name is as "Mods", without quotes.
Description. This version is the same as the original v5.05, I have just placed the files in to .big files, integrated the English patch, and removed the unused ZH files, for easier installing. This version is not a newer version, there are no new changes.
If u have one then open INI.big in the generals zh program folder. Using a Hex-Editor, find "InitialStartingCash". Normally you start with 10000-50000 but u can change that to anything up to 99999. Dont add any more text as this will change the file size. Before saving the new "INI.big" file make sure u have deleted the original one or the game
2. Make a backup of your Zero Hour folder (just in case ) 3. Run downloaded file, choose Zero Hour directory in the installer (or extract to any folder, and copy manually later on) Note: 1. Its fully compatible with multiplayer!! It only changes local audio files. 2. The written language (and keyboard shortcuts) are still german, only audio has

So a new version was made, in which the hotkeys were all standardized in .csf files for those of the major game languages (de, eng), in which only tooltips for upgrades (or unspecific) things were changed, while leaving nearly everything else untouched. I hope that those who have never used hotkeys because they, "can't be bothered" to use XCC
