DIAL stands for discovery and launch and refers to the TV's pre-installed smart apps (Netflix, YouTube etc) which your phone sees as a cast target (Viera). I tried it out when I first got the TV, but have used Chromecast since. I still see Viera as an alternate cast target. Try running the TV's network setup again.
