2011 BMW iDrive Knob Controller not working. I have 2011 BMW 528i Series model. Water got spillover close to iDrive Knob. At first "Press down" button didn't work and "Up-Down" scroller use to work. Very nextday Press down didn't work. Up-Down scroller stopped working. Waited 3 days expecting it will comeback by it's own. Unfortunately it did not!
Mine is a 06 e90, 325i, date 10/2005, comfort, navi, n52, 49.6k miles, battery replaced SEP 2010. I notice long cranks to start the car in the morning, two weeks ago the CCC got stock at rebooting mode (Only switching from BMW symbol and blank screen, no audio). A week later, fifth cylinder coil failure (OBD 2). 1) Found a reputable AC parts exchange store in Garden Grove, CA (AC Exchange). Paid $275 for the compressor and dryer, after getting my $50 core money back. 2) While at the compressor store, I had them vacuum out the old freon for $25. 3) Paid my friend and mechanic of 40 years to replace the compressor.On your iDrive's communication menu, navigate to manage mobile devices. Select the device you're having trouble pairing. Hit the option to delete the device. Open your phone's Bluetooth menu and find your paired BMW. Hit the option to forget the device. With a clean slate, you're free to pair your phone and BMW once again.
